Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster
Blackjack is a game that reminds me of a rollercoaster. It is a game that begins slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel as though you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom drops.
Blackjack is so remarkably like a crazy ride the similarities are unreal. As with the popular fairground experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will appear to be going great for a time before it bottoms out again. You have to be a gambler that is able to adjust well to the ups and downs of the game especially given that the game of blackjack is awash with them.
If you like the small coaster, a coaster that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the mad ride is with a much bigger wager, then hop on board for the rollercoaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster crazy ride because they are not considering the drop as they rush hastily to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s just great, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better bail out in a hurry.
If you don’t, you will not naturally remember how much you enjoyed the good life while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a cool ride and your head in the air. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t clearly recall how "high up" you went but you will naturally remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
