My Casino Vingt-et-un Variety Game
I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to beat the casino.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the bet back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
